Dear Fellow WCA Members--
For your information and comment, please find below proposed updates to the Waterview Cluster Standard for Roof Colors. Waterview Cluster’s roof color standards are periodically updated to reflect available colors from available sources that best match our cluster palette. The last roof color update was in 2022, when COVID supply-chain issues affected availability of several colors. More sources are available today for most colors.
These proposed roof color updates, with any amendments due to member comments, will be voted on at the March Cluster Board Meeting. With WCA Board approval, these updates will then go to the Reston Design Review Board for final approval and inclusion in our cluster roof color standards.
As is currently the case, all roof replacements require an RA DRB application for approval prior to installation. Whenever practical and reasonably available, all roof replacements will be a good match to the original 1964 "historical color" assigned to your house.
